Edison (2-1) at Wakefield (0-3)
The Eagles have not lost to the Warriors since a 17-13 Wakefield win in Week 6 of 1998. Edison went 3-7 that year.

Since, this has been one of the most one-sided series in the Northern Region.

The Eagles have won 10 in a row, average score: 40-10. In only three of those 10 games have the Warriors managed more than a touchdown.

Last year, Edison beat Wakefield, 36-6, paced by a 16-carry, 264-yard, 2-touchdown eruption by now-senior running back Angus Harper. The then-unbeaten Eagles, though, only led 7-6 after the first quarter.

They closed the game with 29 unanswered points.

Last week against the Majors, Harper wasn't far from his form against the Warriors last year. Edison's leading rusher carried 17 times for 181 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Mount Vernon.

Along with Harper, senior quarterback Levi Barber has hit a stride since the season-opening loss at West Springfield. Barber went 13-for 27 passing for 181 yards with two touchdowns and no picks in a one-point win at Centreville in Week 2.

The Eagles' second-year starter followed that up with 95 passing yards on 6-for-11 through air and 92 rushing yards against the Majors.

Barber has three rushing touchdowns in the last two weeks.
