Dear Players (and Parents!)

I am very excited about the upcoming football season at Westminster High School.  With the return of  over 40 Varsity lettermen ( 36 seniors), combined with the upcoming Junior Varsity players, and the Freshmen players coming off of the best season a Freshmen team has had the last 4 years we continue to make great strides in rebuilding the foundation for a successful football program. By changing attitudes and dedicating ourselves to establishing a winning tradition we are very close to accomplishing this ongoing goal of the football staff.  After a highly successful off season during which Westminster football averaged 60 players in the wt. room 4 days a week and demonstrated a hard working confident attitude, it is clear that we are taking real steps toward being consistently successful at a higher level and establishing our program as a force to be reckoned within Carroll County as well as in the state of Maryland.  There are a lot of good things happening in the Owls Football program and I am glad you want to be a part of it.
