Tommy Cunningham (Jr. 3b/P) led a hitting barrage with a double, triple and a home run and eight RBIs in Blake's 30-2 win over Wheaton Monday night.

Blake sent 18 batters to the plate in the top of the first inning and plated 13 runs before there was an out recorded in the game. Ten Bengal batters had at least 10 hits and eight players had at least two runs scored.

Jake Lorber's five runs scored tied a single-game Blake record (Matt Schrader vs. Kennedy, 2005). Cunningham's eight RBIs was the second-most ever to Schrader's 10 in the Kennedy game. Cunningham almost had a second home run in the game but his double bounced off the top of the left center-field fence and back onto the playing field.

Collin Keegan (Sr.) held Wheaton hitless for 3 2/3 innings. Austin Malner (Soph. LHP)finished the game as Blake allowed Wheaton 2 hits and an unearned run while fanning seven Knights.

Blake is now 1-1 and takes on Sherwood on Wednesday night at Blake.
