Wilde Lake faced off with Mount Hebron in their season opener Friday at Mount Hebron.

Sophmore Mike Bucci pitched for Wilde Lake facing twenty seven batters in six innings, walking only one, striking out four and giving up two earned runs. Junior Anthony Scafone completed the effort, coming in to relieve Bucci in the seventh inning to face three batters, striking out two. 

The offense came up big for Wilde Lake, suporting Bucci's effort with twelve hits and eleven runs. Sophmore Joe Kelly went two for two with a single, triple and two RBI's; Junior Corey Lyman went two for four with two singles and one RBI.
