The Athletic Department is proud to announce that at the culmination of the fall sports season four Holy Cross seniors signed the National Letter of Intent with the colleges they will be attending next fall.    

A Letter of Intent is a biding agreement between a prospective athletically gifted student and a college, in which the college agrees to provide the student with financial aid for one academic year in exchange for the student's agreement to attend this college for one academic year and play for it.    

Hayley Katzenberger '09 has signed to play lacrosse at the University of Florida. Caitlin Townsend '09 will attend Fairfield University and will play lacrosse there as well. Stephanie Anya '09 will be playing basketball for American University, and Maria Fuccillo '09 will attend the University of Virginia and will be playing tennis for them.

The Academy is so proud of these young ladies and is truly grateful for all the success they have brought to our athletic programs over the past four years.  We wish you all the best!
