BATTLE FOR SECOND PLACE

Mawrtians win second place in the B Conference.

The Bryn Mawr volleyball team traveled to Baltimore Lutheran Friday and defeated the host team, 3-0. The scores were 25-18, 26-24, 25-16.
 
Both teams entered the match with an identical 7-4 record and the winner would have sole possesion of second place in the B conference behind Maryvale. 

After starting 0-3 in conference play, the Mawrtians (9-6 overall) have won eight of their last nine games and finish the regular season with an 8-4 record. 

Lutheran (10-5 overall, 7-5 conference) drops to third place. 
 
Junior Carly Chafey had 22 assists and was 23-for-23 serving with four aces.  Juniors Theo Matthai (10 Kills) and Cleo Baker (13 kills) each had strong games for Bryn Mawr.  Senior Vivian Curtis was 16-for-17 serving.
