#1 Seed Punahou took quick action in defeating Radford 58-28 to advance to the Girls D-I Championship Game for the 4th straight year. The Lady Buff N Blu, 13-1, will take their #1 State ranking into the Championship Game Friday at 8:00p against ILH rival Iolani, who defeated Waiakea in the other semi-final.
The Championship game will be carried live right here on Digitalsports.com from the Stan Sheriff Center.

The zone defense by Punahou baffled Radford from the end of the 1st quarter, limiting the Lady Rams to only 2 points from that point through the 3rd quarter.
Buff N Blu senior Shaena-Lyn Kuehu sat out most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters after suffering a mild head injury from an inadvertant elbow. But the she came in the 4th period with force scoring 9 of her 11 points.
"I was out for so long, I needed to come in and help the team,"said Kuehu.
Sister Shawna-Lei Kuehu led the team with 20 points, 10 of which was scored in the 1st quarter. Ta Nitra Byrd tossed in 9 points off the bench for the Lady Rams.
