Sean Maguire assisted on five goals and scored twice, Patrick Fanshaw scored three times and had two assists, Jason McFadden had two each in goals and assists and Tony Rossi scored three times with one assist in Calvert Hall's 17-5 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference victory over Archbishop Spalding on Friday.
Tyler Adelsberger had a goal and an assist, with one goal each from Phil Castronva, Ryan Gutowski, JK Wittelsberger, Matt Lanzi, Brian Rowe and defender Christopher Lightner as the Cardinals improved to 4-1 in league play, and, 11-1 overall.
Greg Dutton made eight saves for the Cardinals, who are ranked No. 2 in the DigitalSports Top 20, with reserved Matt Miller making two.
The Cavaliers, ranked 14th, slipped to 2-2, 6-4.
