Mount St. Joseph’s varsity water polo team competed in the inaugural “Philmore Cup†tournament this past weekend, which
pitted Baltimore’s MIAA teams in a round-robin format versus the five “Inter-Acâ€
league host teams in Philadelphia.
The Gaels faced Haverford High and Penn Charter
in their first two games, each of which proved to be tough, evenly-matched
battles. Despite holding a second half lead in each game, the Gaels fell to

threatened. Tucker Creevy (Sr.) led the team in scoring with 15 goals in
the tournament, Brian Abdo (Sr.) led the team with 5 assists and Todd
Reitz (Jr.) led with 4 steals.
