Outlook:

Oldfields has new leadership with Chelsea Rhoden taking over as coach. It's the first coaching job for the Washington state transplant.

She has a nucleus to build around with six returning players. Kristen Johnson will head up the backcourt as point guard while Marguerite Copeland returns at center. Rhoden is excited about several players returning to varsity after not playing last season.

"I think we'll be a fairly good shooting team," said Rhoden. "I want to focus on getting our defense stronger."

"I think this team has a lot more heart," said Johnson, a three-year starter. "We want to win more than last year, so I think we're going to do well."
