Highlights: Toms River North quarterback Ron Sermarini threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Point Beach’s Dan Frangione in the first quarter staking Ocean to a 7-3 lead en route to braking a two-game losing streak. Wall’s Pat Flannery kicked a 40-yard field goal early for Monmouth. Lacey’s Dale Pearce tacked on a 35-yarder for Ocean in the fourth quarter. Pass interceptions by Lakewood’s Greg Porzio and North’s Doc Rose helped stop Monmouth’s attack.
