Cosby Titan players look on as their team went on to win 5-0 over L.C. Bird

The
Cosby Titans, currently ranked first in the DigitalSports top 10 poll, defeated the
L.C. Bird Skyhawks 5-0 in Wednesday night's game at L.C. Bird.

Hunter Ackerman was outstanding on the mound as he struck out 15 and did not allow a single run over six innings.

The Titans knocked in two more runs in the second inning increasing their lead to 4-0.
Cosby would not score again until the sixth inning when Bradley Shaban hit a line drive single into the center field gap bringing home
Greg Moon as they went up 5-0 on the Skyhawks.
Ackerman was replaced in the seventh inning by Ronnie Shaban who finished off the Skyhawks with a quick three outs to solidify the shut out.
"It felt good to get a good win under our belt," Parker said. "We played good defense and Ackerman pitched a heck of a game. Everyone hit really well."
