Virginia Commonwealth University is the next destination for pitcher Seth Cutler-Voltz.
As intimidating as
Seth Cutler-Voltz's war paint-esque eye black was this past season, there was something much more frightening for opposing batters.
It was his 0.95 ERA.
Cutler-Voltz dazzled on the mound for
Henrico using fastballs and off-speed pitches to earn a 6-3 record with 66 strikeouts.
He was not an easy out at the plate either batting .305 for the season.
The Warriors finished third in the Capital District but Cutler-Voltz pitched a gem against Lee-Davis in the district semifinals to avenge two regular season losses by one run each to the Confederates.
Cutler-Voltz went the distance striking out ten and giving up only five hits to secure Henrico a spot in the district championship and the Central Region tournament.
That would be the Warriors last win of the season as they fell to Hanover in the title game and Cosby in the quarters of the region tourney.
Cutler-Voltz will play baseball at the next level, but not far from home, at Virginia Commonwealth University.
