Kyle Parker won the Central Region and Colonial District titles in singles and doubles this past season.
Think of everything that makes a tennis player great.
Kyle Parker is that and some.
It is no surprise than that the
Mills Godwin rising senior is the DigitalSports boys tennis player of the year.
Parker has beautiful ground strokes, hits hard, uses finesse, is crafty and is quick.
Parker captured the Colonial District and Central Region singles titles with ease this past season.
He fell in the state quarterfinals to Fairfax's
Sidarth Balaji.
Along with partner
Kevin Calhoun the duo won the district and region doubles titles before losing in the state final for the second straight year.
As a leader Parker propelled the Eagles to the region team crown and into the state championship where they lost to eventual three-time defending champion Robinson.
With one more year left in high school, many more titles should be on the way to Parker.
