Wallace Express 78, Fete International 69
* Wallace Express took over late to defeat Fete International in the quarterfinals of the Tri-City Summer League on Tuesday at George Wythe High School.
Down 61-59 with 7:30 left, the defending champions ended the game on a 19-8 run.
Darius Hargrove led all scorers with 33 points, 10 points coming in the fourth quarter for Wallace Express.
Ben Wallace (15 points) and Wayne Wallace (10 points) were the other members of the Express in double figures.
Corey Alexander scored a team-high 18 points for Fete International and Chris Moss added 17.
Wallace Express will meet Geoff McDonald & Associates in the semifinals on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. The first semifinal between DTLR/Cosmopolitan Lounge and S&E Entertainment is scheduled for 6.

* There was some impressive individual scoring in Geoff McDonald & Associates’ victory over ASSIST Student Athletes in the quarterfinal nightcap.
For the winners, Ibrahim Jaaber scored 42 points and his older brother, Luqman, put in 37.
Not to be outdone ASSIST’s Lenny Daniels scored 44 points in a losing effort.
Jabbar Richardson added 18 points for Geoff McDonald & Associates.
T.J. Granger had 11 points for ASSIST and Edward Young had 10.
