1. Varina (12-1): Defending Division 6 champs loaded from top to bottom. Very experienced team.
2. Highland Springs
(6-4): JaQuan Burchette‘s improvement offensively makes Springers complete.
3. Dinwiddie
(12-2): Departure of DS player of the year Adam Morgan is softened by Chris Hall. Defending Division 5 champs shouldn’t be overlooked.
4. L.C. Bird (9-2): Skyhawks looking for ninth straight district title. Will have wrinkles not seen at Bird before.
5. Meadowbrook (9-3): Division 6 finalist has playmaker Andre Coble back.
6. Hermitage (8-3): Look out for Easton Gordon offensively, and Curtis Grant defensively. Big years for both will lead Panthers.
7. Cosby (6-4): Titans one of Dominion foes capable of ending Bird’s reign.
8. Manchester (8-2): Here’s another. As talented a bunch as coach Tom Hall has had.
9. Hanover (7-3): Hawks return more starters than you think.
10. Thomas Dale (6-4): 39 seniors left, but defense should be strong.
