Hopewell forced a tie at 70, but John Marshall finished the contest on an 11-1 bolt to win the Central Region first round game Monday.
The Justices got off to a hot start with 15 points from Willie Mangum. The sophomore finished with 20 points.
Travis McKie threw in 23 points for the Justices, going 12 for 14 from the free-throw line.
Devonte Payne had 13 points, Tahir Little 12 and Davaughn Lampkin 11 for the Colonial District champions.
McKindley King led Hopewell with 22 points, Pedro Berrios had 17 and David Rose chipped in with 14 points.
