**SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS FROM EVENT**

DCIAA girls championship basketball team, H.D. Woodson Lady Warriors, and boys champions, Roosevelt Rough Riders, gathered with WCAC girls champions, Bishop McNamara Mustangs, and boys champions, Gonzaga Eagles, on Monday, March 3rd at the Verizon Center's Acela Club for a luncheon honoring the players and coaches of each team heading to the City Title Games on Tuesday, March 4th.

Members of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, Executive Director of the Children's Youth Investment Trust Corporation, Greg Roberts, City Council Chairman, Vincent Gray, and a host of others joined together to wish the teams luck in Tuesday's City Title games between the DCIAA and the WCAC basketball championship teams.

On Tuesday, March 4th, the H.D. Woodson Lady Warriors will take on the Bishop McNamara Mustangs at 5:30pm, and the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Riders will face the Gonzaga Eagles at 7:30pm at the Verizon Center for the 42nd Annual City Title Championship Basketball games, showcasing the best and most talented high school girls and boys athletes from DC Public High Schools and the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference.
