Night Baseball Comes to the DCIAA

Banneker Recreation Field Host the First DCIAA Night Baseball Game Featuring Theodore Roosevelt and Cardozo. The exciting game went into extra innings with Cardozo getting the victory 13-11.

Multi-media coverage of the game was provided by DigitalSports DC, ABC TV, Channel 28, the Washington Post, the Washington Informer, and the Rider Times.

The ceremonial first pitch was delivered by City Councilman Harold Thomas who also served as the play by play announcer.
