On day 1 of the David S. Ishii Foundation/HHSAA Girls Golf State Championship, Punahou holds a seven-stroke lead (220) over Maui High (227).
Waiakea is currently in third, only two stokes behind Maui High with a score of 229.
Punahou's Alina Ching and Waiakea's Britney Yada are tied for first with a score of 70. Moanalua's Kristin Merkle is one stroke back with 71.
