Defending state champions Eleanor Roosevelt (4A) and Col. Richardson (1A) snag No. 1 seeds

The 2008 baseball draw was held Wednesday at the MPSSAA office.

In the 4A draw, Gaithersburg (west), 2007 state champion Eleanor Roosevelt (south), Linganore (north) and Arundel (east) all captured number one seeds.

The 3A draw saw Frederick (west), La Plata (south), Patapsco (north) and 2007 state runner up Centennial (east) as the one seeds.

South Hagerstown (west), Marriotts Ridge (south), Polytechnice (north) and Parkside (east) all secured number one spots in the 2A brackets.

2007 state runner up Northern Garrett (west), Surrattsville (south), Digital Harbor (north), and 2007 state champion Col. Richardson (east) took the top four spots in the 1A draw.
