Pikesville takes a two-game winning streak into Tuesday's Baltimore County Division I West game opposite visiting Catonsville, which has won seven consecutive games.
The visiting Comets are 3-0 in the division, and 8-3 overall, including an 8-7 victory on April 8 over Division I East rival Towson, which defeated the homestanding Panthers (2-1, 9-2) by 12-8 on April 1.
Among the Panthers' victories in their past two games, however, was one of 8-7 over Division I West rival Franklin, which earlier defeated Towson as well.
