DIGITALSPORTS BOYS LACROSSE TOP 20

This is the final poll ranking Maryland's top 20 boys lacrosse teams, as deemed by DigitalSports.

DONS HAVE DONE IT: The Loyola Dons (above) avenged an earlier loss by winning, 12-11, in Tuesday's Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference championship game victory over previously unbeaten Gilman. The title was the second straight for the Dons, who ended the year as DigitalSports' top-ranked team.
LIONS LAST: Dulaney avenged an earlier, 8-7 loss by the same score when the Lions defeated Urbana for their eighth Class 4A-3A state title.

DigitalSports boys' lacrosse Top 20


Dulaney of Baltimore County avenged an earlier, 8-7, loss by the same score over Urbana of Frederick County, winning the Maryland Class 4A-3A, state title on a goal by Brad Ruzicka with 1:29 left to play.

Baltimore County's Hereford routed Walkersville of Frederick County, 17-5, for the Maryland Class 3A-2A state title.

And Glenelg of Howard County, last year's Class 3A-2A champ, completed an unbeaten season at 18-0 with a 7-4, Maryland Class 2A-1A state title-winning effort over Southern of Anne Arundel County.

In the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association finals, Loyola and Archbishop Curley won their second straight titles in the A and B Conferences, respectively, over previously unbeaten Gilman and John Carroll.

In the MIAA C Conference, Cardinal Gibbons avenged two earlier losses by defeating St. John's Catholic Prep for the title.
