TROJAN CONQUER PATRIOTS IN SIX
Terre Haute North dropped two flyballs in the outfield during the first inning. The score after one complete inning was Center Grove 2, Terre Haute North 0. The Patriots suffered from more defensive woes as the Trojans continued to add to the disparity between the two clubs’ scoring in earning a 10-0 victory in six innings. Junior J.T. Bailey (3-3) pitched all six innings in taking on the loss. Eight of the ten runs scored by Center Grove were unearned as the Patriots committed five errors for the game. Catcher Chris Pearson of Center Grove launched a solo home run and a double while scoring four runs.
Seniors Andrew Bledsoe, Brandon Dorsett, and Chad Wilguess and sophomore Andrew Gauer each collected a single for the Patriot offense. North is presently 7-10 overall and 3-3 in the MIC.
