eighth-grader Aleah Epps knocked down a jumper with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game to lift the Lady Rams to the Prince George's County middle school title Saturday at Prince George's Community College.

Down 30-29 to the Gwynn Park Yellow Jackets, Epps' basket gave the Lady Rams a 31-30 lead with 6.5 seconds remaining in the contest.

Epps scored a game-high 16 points in the victory.

Olivia Turner led the Yellow Jackets with nine points, respectively.

Boys Results:


The Ernest E. Just Eagles won its second consecutive middle-school title as it defeated the Kenmoor Kavaliers Saturday, 42-29.

Eighth-grader Stanford Robinson led the Eagles with a game-high 14 points in securing the Eagles' second consecutive title.

Khory Doby led the Kavaliers with 10 points on the night and displayed great shot-blocking abilities albeit in a losing effort.
