The game started out very close, with both teams matching shots, blow for blow. The score at the half was Laurel 22- Polytech 19.
The panthers used a tough 3rd quarter to take a one point lead into the final quarter.
The Lady Bulldogs proved to be too much, hitting a game winning shot with 5.5 seconds left on the clock. Laurel 43 - Polytech 42.
The Lady Panthers were lead by the scoring duo of Mira Kelley with 15 and Myisha Rufus with 14.
The Lady Bulldogs had a three headed attack with Brooke Evans netting 11, Twilia McCrea with 10, and Sharay Smith adding 10.
The Lady Panthers are back in action, Next Tuesday @ Indian River. The next home game is Feburary 12th vs. Sussex Tech.
