Apology press conference
Let me first thank all of my fans, family and supporters for being her today for me.
I am here today to admit my use of writing enhancers through my years of sports journalism.
They say peanut butter is brain food and I did take peanut butter pills in 2002 and 2003, and a little in 2004, half of 2005 and 2006, and in December of 2007. And, if you take out three or four months in 2008, I was clean from then on.
I want to apologize to my fans. You all have been my support throughout these years. Through your plenty of e-mails, phone calls, text messages, and so forth, you have always been supportive of me and my writing.
To my co-workers .......pause........pause........pause.......pause................................pause.....................................................pause......... Thank you! ~Fake tear~
I am a great writer, and I felt a lot of pressure to live up to my expectations coming out of college at Bowie State.
Getting right into the business and getting a multi-thousand dollar contract put pressure on me, and I felt the pressure to deliver and exceed expectations. I am sorry.
However, I must say, when Microsoft Word introduced spell check, my life got a lot easier. The green lines and red lines clouded my thinking and my writing. I am sorry, but they have some of the blame here as well.
All in all, the Spring season is coming up here shortly. I would like to ask my fans to look at my performance from here on out and judge my career from this point on.
I also want to thank my cousin for introducing me to Jif peanut butter.

Friday night is the last night of the basketball regular season! So, with that said, let's just get right into the picks, no gimmicks today folks, only picks.
My computer clock currently says 11:22 a.m. and I will make picks all the way up until the clock hits 11:25. (Sorry, I have a lunch at Boston's Gourmet Pizza restaurant today)
Boys Basketball
Fairmont over Frederick Douglass, Bowie over Bladensburg (overtime), Potomac over Surrattsville, Laurel over Flowers, Gwynn Park OR Friendly ... Well, since that's the game I am covering on Friday night, I will leave THAT one alone! (Smile)
Girls Basketball
Surrattsville over Potomac, Largo over Forestville, Crossland over Central ... DING, 11:25.
