The four-time and defendgin state champ Raiders are off and running, up 6-0 after a field goal by Elashier Hall a couple of buckets by Olivia Applewhite. Blake calls timeout with 6:19 left in the quarter.

Gabi Hall hit a couple of jumpers to pull Blake closer, but Hall closed the period with a basket to put the Raiders' lead at 15-9 at the end of one.

*Third quarter

Applewhite hits two free throws to make it 39-18. Raiders have scored first 8 points of half.

4:58 -- Hall scores for Blake, but Applewhite scores again to make it 41-20. Raiders take full timeout.

End quarter -- Roosevelt runs the clock out on the quarter with a 52-27 lead. The Raiders outscored Blake 21-9 period and are not leaving anything to chance. Roosevelt picked up the defensive intensity, going full-court for much of the period. One quarter away from No. 5 in a row for Roosevelt.

*Fourth quarter

6:31 -- Clock keeps ticking down towards No. 5. It's 56-30 in favor of the Raiders.

5:25 -- Blake's on an 8-0 run to cut the lead to 56-35.

2:32 -- Roosevelt is flexing its muscle again. Lead stretched out to 65-35.

Final -- Roosevelt wins 67-39 for its fifth straight championship.

Olivia Applewhite led all scorers with 22 points. Roosevelt is first girls team in state history to win five straight state titles.
