Chelsy Riggen blast one of her two hits in the game.
 Riverton Parke balsted 13 hits and held Attica to only to to win a WRC softball game 9-0 Friday night.

The Panthers Chelsy Riggen allowed two hits to Attica's Lindsay Phillips, a 3rd inning single and a 6th inning triple, to pick up her first win of the year.

Riggen only walked one batter and struck out 12 in the complete game performance.

RP's offense jumped on Attca in the first inning as Whitney Mathas singled, advanced to third on a double by Mikayla Grindle, and scored on an RBI single by Riggen.

RP added another run in the 2nd as Ashley Kinne reached on an error, advanced to second on a WP and scored on a single by Chelsea Myers.

RP broke the game open with a 4 run 3rd inning.

With one out Megan Vincent tripled and scored on a wild pitch. Riggen followed with her second hit of the game, a double. Cortney Edington singled and both scored on a triple by Kinne. Mackenzie Haltom singled in Kinne for the 6-0 lead.

RP scored 3 insurance runs in the 6th on a triple by Myers, an RBI singel by Mathas, a single by Grindle, a wild picth, and an RBI ground out by Riggen.

That would be more than enough runs for Riggen on this evening. She retired the first 8 batters she faced, allowed 2 consecutives runners to reach base in the 3rd and then retired the next 8 batters in order.

Riggen was 2-4, scored a run and drove in 2. Grindle was 2-4 with a run scored. Myers was 2-4, and Mathas was 3-4 scoring twice and driving in one.

The win gets RP back to 5-5 on the season and rasies the teams WRC record to 3-1.
