Since a first match loss to defending MIAA B Conference champion St. Vincent Pallotti, the Chapelgate Christian golf team has run off five straight victories and is well on its way to a high seed post-seson.

The Yellowjacket return four starters from last year in seniors Michael Lovaas and Brooks Parson, as well as juniors Tyler Leatherwood and Alex McCurry.  Rounding out the starting six are freshmen Taylor Crampton and Carter Davis.  The Yellowjackets have shutout Baltimore Lutheran, Beth T'filoh and St. John's in six man match play, before returning to their home course, Turf Valley, to defeat Cardinal Gibbons, 16.5-4.5.

On Wednesday, Chapelgate traveled to Mount Pleasant golf course for a match against 5-1 Friends.  After falling behind 4.5-1.5, after the first half, Chapelgate rallied over the final six holes.  All six matches went to the maximum of twelve holes, with Chapelgate pulling out an 11.5-9.5 victory, with Lovaas shooting three over for the twelve hole match.
