4/10/08            vs. South River Seahawks

            After winning 3 opening games in the county, the Cougars are slowed by the Seahawks, 6-2. After scoring 2 runs in the 1st, the bats fell silent, again, and the team could only manage 1 additional hit. Sophomore Shane Troyer earned both RBI in the 1st with a double to the left-center field fence scoring senior Zach Shoemaker & sophomore Mike Marsh. Jeremy VerHoef suffered his first pitching loss of the season, allowing 11 hits while striking out 4 in a complete game effort.
