4/11/08            vs. Broadneck Bruins    

            A warm Friday afternoon heats up the Cougar bats as they defeat Broadneck, 6-2. Senior Dylan Poter wins his third game of the season, allowing just 4 hits and just 2 earned runs. Porter's ERA is now an outstanding 0.84, which leads the team. A walk and 4 consecutive hits in top of the 4th inning seemed to deflate the Bruins. Six different Cougar players had RBI including seniors Zach Shoemaker, Chris Fleig, Dylan Porter, junior Jeremy VerHoef and sophomores Shane Troyer & Josh Grimes.
