Brandon Page this week committed to run cross country and track at Indiana Wesleyan University. Brandon had offers from other outstanding schools to include Western Kentucky University, Cedarville University and Georgetown College before deciding on Indiana Wesleyan which is one fastest growing Christian universities in the country. Indiana Wesleyan has an outstanding program, as they finished 10th in the NAIA National Championships this past season in cross country.

Brandon has been an outstanding student athlete during his career at CAL. As team captain he helped lead the 2007 cross country team to a 2nd place finish in the state championships and he personally earned All-State team honors in the process. In track he was the 2007 regional champion in the 3200 meter run and finished 5th in the state in the same event. Brandon is also a member of the National Honor Society, Academic All-State teams in both cross country and track and is an active participant in the CAL Missions department.

Despite his successes at CAL, the coaching staff knows Brandon’s best years are still ahead of him. Brandon has battled through some significant injuries, which makes his accomplishments all the more impressive. He will be sorely missed by both his teammates and coaches and we pray for his continued success at the next level.
