Boys & Girls to represent CAL in LEXINGTON

Congratulations to Elle Gerlach and Emily Mallory for qualifying for the State tournament next week in Lexington by finishing as the Region 7 doubles runner-up.

The girls lost their first match of the season last night in the regional final in a very close match against Sacred Heart's #1 doubles team 7-6(3), 7-5.

Elle and Emily
will find out their seeding for the State tournament on Monday night, with the tournament beginning on Thursday morning.

Colby Buchanan and Brett Johnson beat Erik Daus and Nick Reyes or Trinity 7-5, 6-2 to claim the 7th region doubles championship for 2008.

They along with Bradley Johnson will travel to Lexington on Thursday to represent the 7th region in the Kentucky State Tennis Championship. Christian Academy finished 1 point behind KCD to earn the runner-up spot in the team competition.
