wrestler Helen Maroulis won the 116-pound championship at the Women’s Junior Freestyle Nationals tournament this past weekend.
Maroulis, who became Maryland’s first female to twice place at the 4A/3A state tournament this past season, defeated Illinois’ Alli Ragan, 8-0, in the finals match.
