The Barstow girls tennis team placed 4th in the "Great Eight" tournament this last weekend.  The girls defeated Cape Girardeau Central, 5 - 4  Friday morning, but lost to Pembroke Hill  3 - 6  in the afternoon.  Saturday, the girls faced off against Bellview West narrowly losing 5 - 4 in another well played match.
Stephanie Dudzinski and Meredith Rock were undefeated in doubles during the weekend. Stephanie went undefeated in singles as well.  Meredith Rock and freshman Kate Sims both went 2 - 1 in singles. This tournament features some of the best 4A and 5A teams in three states.
