The Barstow boys traveled to Adrian Tuesday evening to battle the one loss Adrian Blackhawks.  Barstow got off to a fast start, but the Blackhawks never seemed to be bothered by it.  They kept the lead close the entire first half with a pressure man to man defense, that Barstow had trouble handling.  The Knights never lost the lead the entire game.  Adrian used a full court press to cause turnover after turnover, and getting the lead down to one with one minute to play.  Barstow held off Adrian with free throws and big defensive stops.  Barstow was lead by Freshman Lawrence Brown.  He had 16 points and 17 rebounds.  Seniors Corey Wacknov added 13 points, while senior Sean Dusselier added 10 rebounds.  Barstow was missing their starting center Ethan Thomas with a knee injury, and the other big men stepped in and helped out.
