PATRIOT NATION . . . Well our boys concluded the regular season with a victory today, defeating Mercer Island 11-8.  Our pitching sputtered early but Dan Eck came in to stabilize things and shutdown Mercer Island.  He also had an awesome sac bunt J  Eric Peterson hit a Home Run in a clutch situation and Brian Kim played a solid game picking up a critical RBI with two outs.  Down 5-0 in the third our boys did not implode; they remained focused, relaxed and trusted our game plan.  With this game comes the close of our Regular Season.  Our boys finished 16-2 in league, earning the regular season championship.  Next week is the start of our Playoff Season.  We play Thursday, May 14th 7PM at Bannerwood Stadium.  Please come root on our boys in the King-Co Playoffs, as we play to earn the privilege of representing our league in the State Tournament.  Hope to see you on the diamond!  It’s a great day to be a Patriot!
