Beth Tfiloh carried an 11 game winning streak into its regular season finale, on Friday, and the Warriors outslugged Towson Catholic, 14-6, to stetch its streak to an even dozen. The victory also allowed the Beth Tfiloh to complete and undefeated season in the MIAA C Conference, where it claimed the top seed heading into next week's playoffs.
The Warriors are now 12-1 overall.
Ace Aaron Gillette came on to pitch the game's final four innings and held Towson Catholic, which had rallied within 10-6, scoreless the rest of the way.
As the top seed, Beth Tfiloh will open the playoffs at home, on Tuesday at Sudbrook Park, against St. Frances. The other semifinal pairing will have third-seeded St. John's Catholic Prep visit #2 Saints Peter & Paul, in Easton.
