BOWIE's JV FOOTBALL TEAM IS ON THE MOVE to 10-0

Bowie's junior varsity football team defeated Charles H. Flowers, 29-8, in a league contest last week.

Bowie's offense proved unstoppable against CH Flowers with a number of different players contributing. Deric Goode caught a touchdown pass, Ronald Regan scored twice and Anthony Murray and Howard Dubose added one reception each.

Additionally, center Jonathan Abraham played exceptionally well. Bowie ran four quarterback sneaks with Abraham leading the way, and all resulted in first downs. Abraham also helped fullback Jamel Lewis total more than 50 yards rushing. The whole offensive line played well.

Also, Jordan McKnealy was a monster on the defensive side of the ball along with Daquan Booser and Evan Fitzgerald.

Bowie's line really stepped it up on both sides of the ball.

Next week the Bulldogs will host Oxon Hill at 9:30 a.m. as they try to improve their record to 3-0 this season.
