Senior Sarah Cauley and sophomore Dominique DiPino each scored two goals to help lead Dulaney to its first win of the season over Baltimore County rival Parkville 6-0 on Wednesday.
Junior Kayla Amin scored her first varsity goal of her career and assisted on two others in the victory for the Lions, who out-shot the Knights 39-10.
“Everything came together in the game," said Lions head coach Sharyn
Kuczka. "We have been working hard to improve our combination play and
decision making. We were happy to see the girls find the net and get a
win.”
Dulaney improved to 1-3 overall while Parkville fell to 4-1.
The Lions welcomed back senior captain Annie Trapp, who returned from injury and played in her first game of the season. Trapp added an assist in her debut back with her teammates.
Senior Jenna Riordan added a goal for Dulaney while Amanda Thomas had an assist.
Dulaney goalie Caelin Halligan stopped seven shots in the victory. Halligan was helped in defensive department by Rosie Myers and Jillian Magnotta.
