Two-time defending Class 1A state champion Dunbar, as well as Edmondson, winner of the Class 2A state title in 2006, as well as Mervo and Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference stalward Calvert Hall will be among the local teams participating in the Northeastern Invitational 7-on-7 Passing Tournament on June 21 and 22 at at Morgan State beginning at 10 a.m.

The event is a qualifying tournament for the National High School Coaches' Association 7-on-7 championship, to be held on July 24-26 at Hoover High School, in Hoover, Alabama.

The NHSCA is hosting the event along with its partner high schools, colleges and universities. The 32-team national tournament includes select teams from across the country as well as regional qualifiers from across America.
