Ross, who split time between the linebacker and defensive end positions, was a force on defense for the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders.
As the Raiders went on to a 10-0 regular season record, Ross often disrupted an offense's game plan with his sideline-to-sideline presence.
Ross will stay close to home as he is committed to the University of Maryland where he will play primarily as a linebacker.
"I know the speed will be much [faster]," said Ross of what will be the biggest difference playing college football. "I know they are going to be much stronger."
