The Golden Bears baseball team improved to 13-2 on the season behind the strong pitching performance of Travis Clark. Clark tossed a complete game 2 hit shut out to improve his record to 4-0 on the season. On an unusually cold day, the Bear bats were not as potent as they usually are as they scratched out only 6 hits. Tyler Clark drove in 2 runs and Taylor Kopnitsky had 2 hits to pace the offense. The story of the day was the pitching of Travis and the support of the defense. Jared Christensen made a few outstanding plays - one of which was a professional 6-4-3 double play turned with second baseman Kevin McVicker. The Bears will try and keep the momentum as they close out the regular season with River Hill and make up games with Glenelg and Howard.
