Mount Carmel continues to fire on all cylinders and, last night, in a semifinal contest of the Capital Classic, at Annapolis High School,  the Cougars received double digit scoring from three of their big guns, as they defeated Pataspco (5-1), 68-54, from Baltimore County.

Troy Franklin continued his incredible senior season with 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals, while Rummell King and Stanford McNair combined for 25 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, four steals and two blocks.  In addition, Dwayne Wheeler contributed eight points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

The 17th-ranked Cougars (11-1) will now return to Annapolis this evening to compete the Capital City Classic Championship game, at 7:00 pm.
