After losing the first two games, Douglas Freeman rallied to defeat homestanding Maggie Walker GS 3-2 Thursday night.

The Rebels took game three and four 25-19 before nipping the Green Dragons 17-15 in the fifth.

Lauren Schoenborn registered 13 kills and five aces for Freeman, and Summer Hamlin added 11 kills and five blocks while Lizard Joynes delivered 29 assists.

Meredith Bearden led the Green Dragons with an all-around performance of 25 assists, 10 kills, 10 digs and four aces.
