Patuxent allowed its first goal of the field hockey season, but managed to fight off possibly its stiffest test of the season in defeating the visiting Great Mills Hornets on Wednesday afternoon. 

Lauren Bartley, Lauren Schumacher and Erica Wiltse scored for the Panthers, who remain perfect through 10 games.
