River Hill's softball team has won two straight games over Mount Hebron and Centennial to raise its record to 4-8 in Howard County, and, 4-9 overall.

Against Mount Hebron, the Hawks' Meagan George struck out seven batters and walked three, with offensive support from Emily Posey (3-for-4, one RBI), Sara Thacker (2-for-4, three RBIs) and Alex Schovee (1-for-1, two RBIs)

Against Centennial, George struck out three batters and walked none.

Second baseman Kathy Thornton, shortstop Lindsay McIntyre, first baseman Sara Thacker, center fielder Katlyn Briel and catcher Alex Schovee have been the leaders for the Hawks.
