Morgan-Green paces St. Mary's to another B Conference win
Josh Morgan-Green scored 20 points and junior guard Ronnie Hoffman had 15 as St. Mary's tuned up for holiday tournament play with a 64-35 drubbing of Boys' Latin School in a MIAA B Conference contest Friday on Lake Avenue.
The Saints (8-3) built a 38-15 halftime cushion to remain perfect in league competition at 3-0. Jason Scroggins had 13 points for Boys' Latin (2-6, 2-3), which had its two-game winning streak snapped. The Lakers will play at the O. Ray Mullis Classic at Cardinal Gibbons next week.
St. Mary's will head to Delaware for Bay Ball Classic at Cape Henlopen High in Lewes. The Saints will meet Delaware's Hodgeson Tech in the opening round of the Cape Ferry bracket Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
