Wilde Lake faced off with defending Howard County Champions, Marriotts Ridge yesterday in a thriller at Wilde Lake High School. Both teams brought out the bats and combined for 18 hits each.

Wilde Lake's Alex Kempler was three for four with a home run in the second inning, that was hit deep over the left field fence. Kempler also hit a single and double and had three RBI's in the game. Fellow teammate's Steven Perdigao also went three for four with an RBI and Eric Oler went three for three with two singles, a double and one stolen base.

Marriotts Ridge's Myers hit a home run in the bottom of the third inning off of Anthony Scafone who was the starter in the game for the Wilde Cats, but it wasn't enough as Wilde Lakes offense scored fifteen runs to Marriotts Ridge's fourteen runs, thus giving the Cats and relief pitcher Steven Perdigao the win.
